SV	Doch zij zwegen; want zij waren onder elkander in woorden geweest op den weg, wie de meeste [zou zijn].

Trans.	oi de esiōpōn pros allēlous gar dielechthēsan en tē odō tis meizōn

Alex	οι δε εσιωπων προς αλληλους γαρ διελεχθησαν εν τη οδω τις μειζων
ASV	But they held their peace: for they had disputed one with another on the way, who [was] the greatest.
BE	But they said nothing: because they had had an argument between themselves on the way, about who was the greatest.
Byz	οι δε εσιωπων προς αλληλους γαρ διελεχθησαν εν τη οδω τις μειζων
Darby	And they remained silent, for by the way they had been reasoning with one another who [was] greatest.
ELB05	Sie aber schwiegen; denn sie hatten sich auf dem Wege untereinander besprochen, wer der Größte sei.

Sch	Sie aber schwiegen; denn sie hatten unterwegs miteinander verhandelt, wer der Größte sei.
Scriv	οι δε εσιωπων προς αλληλους γαρ διελεχθησαν εν τη οδω τις μειζων
Web	But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.
